Dear Students,

Ege University Faculty of Health Sciences; It has four departments: Nutrition and Dietetics, Midwifery, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Audiology, each of which has a very important place in the field of health. The language of instruction of the departments in the faculty is Turkish and a fouryear undergraduate education is given. The Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation department was established in 2017, and for the first time in 2019, undergraduate and graduate students were admitted to the department and education began. The Audiology department was established in 2020 and it is planned to start admitting students in the 2022-2023 academic year.

The Faculty of Health Sciences was established with the aim of raising self-confident healthcare professionals and academic staff who can provide education and service to the society to protect and improve health, contribute to the world of science by producing knowledge on a universal scale, are culturally equipped, have ethical principles and team understanding. In the departments of the faculty; aims to train qualified health personnel who are in line with international and national education standards, have professional discipline, have the knowledge and skills to increase the quality of health services, have high self-confidence, adopt ethical principles.

Faculty of Health Sciences will continue teaching with three departments in the 2021-2022 academic year. The preparations for the academic structuring of the Audiology department have also been made and it is planned to start the training preparations as soon as possible.

To be educated as individuals who develop professional knowledge and skills and use these skills for the benefit of society in accordance with ethical principles and rules, who are productive, responsible and socially sensitive, willing to learn science and art, adopt lifelong learning as a principle, and have the concept of being a part of the team us; I believe that it will lead you to success as an individual.
